Is this the same group that was using a "Mickey Mouse" look-a-like? I know some group was "teaching" their children that way. . . oh, I guess that's what the article says. Roll Eyes

Speaking of Mickey Mouse, it will amuse many of you not in attendance last night to know that Jim Louthen was sporting...you guessed it...a Mickey Mouse necktie. Now...having spent a few years in the retail trade with Saks and Mark Shale, I can only imagine what he was thinking when he was standing in front of his mirror Monday morning. My guess from the beginning was that he was sending some kind of message to the citizens of Glen Ellyn.

Nothing says professionalism like a Mickey Mouse tie, I wear one to every interview. Wink

Clam - That is a little disturbing. If my husband tried to leave the house for an important meeting in a cartoon tie, well, it wouldn't happen as he doesn't own one. Clearly this is an indication that his wife and friends either don't look at him, or don't like him. Wink

Friends don't let friends wear Mickey Mouse ties - unless they work at/for Disney.

I think you had a bad view of it, Candidate. It was definitely Mickey Mouse, not Goofy.

BTW, not trying to shine your @ss, but you had one of my favorite ties on last night. I have a complete collection of bold color university stripe ties. And I never wear them any longer. Fan would have liked your color combo.

I have Mickey Mouse cuff links. They haven't fallen apart like the $100 ones.
