Amazing. But then when have the truly rich given a rats a++ about the rest of us? Here we struggle with a State budget that will require billions in borrowing, painful cuts in spending, and tax increases, and they would like us to help them profit on their investment.
I love Wrigley and will hate to see it go but hey.
I really want to see Quinn get out of this one. Can't do it for the sox and not the Cubs. Illinois is so inept, they will have no choice but to do it. 600 million in tourist money says so.
Amazing is right. Since when is a private sports business so important that they need to step in front of the line for state (my) money? No freaking way.
