Phil has asked my assistance in collecting fines from all of you that illegally crossed the grade crossings downtown this morning while the gates were down. The normal fine is $500.00, but a voluntary payment of $499 will be accepted. If you pay the $499 in the next ten days the Village will remove your vehicle from those that will be receiving their tickets in the mail via the cameras mounted at all grade crossings and you will be spared a moving violation and the sentence of driving school.
