In regards to this new smoking ban, who will be policing it? I mean, I have a few co-workers that go outside and smoke, but they probably hang near the door. Will the local police descend upon them and ticket them and our organization? Is this another task our police and sheriffs will have to take on? And another thought, what about the more blue-color jobs, ie, shops, mechanics, warehouses, repair places, etc, etc., do they have to walk 15 feet from the doorway of the garage or shop? Will this be the business’s decision or will the sheriff and police be patrolling day and night looking for these “law breakers”? I see that Illinois was strongest law on record.

No, I always thought this law to be a lawyer's dream. Imagine, those who are afflicted by second hand smoke that is too close to the bar's entrance, massing together to file suit against the bar.....every bar. Now that I think about it, I may just be able to retire in 4 years. But where will I drink? I guess the Caribbean or Tuscany wouldn't be so bad.
