Amazing how the media shelters us. The killing of the second highest Hammas government official by Israeli assassins in a five star hotel in Dubai has shocked and outraged western nations to the point that they are demanding that Israel explain their actions. And it was done using falsified passports from other countries who are even further offended. Interpol is attempting to hunt the assassins down.
Barely makes the news here if at all. Have to research foreign media to get a clue about what's going on.
It blows my mind how we have no problem accessing information about "the war" that we're directly involved in....but anything outside the realm of our armed services....forget it, it doesn't matter to us.

This reminds me of the Spielberg movie, Munich, where a team of Israeli assassins hunt down the guys who attacked the Israeli Olympic team in 72'. Fantastic movie, if you haven't seen it yet. Not for the kiddies to see though, at all.
It bothers me. If someone killed the #2 Israeli (or Hammas for that matter) government official in Chicago at the Trump tower would the United Arab Emirates and western European country's publicize it?
I don't like the answer as maybe freedom of speech isn't what we think.

Gus, I was agreeing with you, your "Bull" comment was "dead on" (no pun intended), and my responding post was merely to reinforce that while linking Bio's valid argument that "the media shelters us" from these events. That "it" was made into a "made-for-tv movie" is a perfect example how these events are made digestible to be consumed by the American public by "the media." No? While you posted some great Bull links, you did not post this one . What better way to learn history than to have it acted out for you by Kevin Spacey, Alan Arkin and Frank Langella. Only in America.
