She is truly putting to the test the old adage, "There is no such thing as bad press." What a sad situation.

Anybody got her in their 2008 dead pool?
I'm thinking the court is going to take her kids away and give them to Kevin "Cleatus" Federline. The thought of him as the "responsible" parent boggles the mind. "Deck the halls..." |

Last month I was upgraded to first class on a flight to Chicago. While chatting with the guy next to me he stated that Chicago is his favorite city and he wished he could live there. I asked him why he didn’t just move and he stated he was an actor. Since I am not particularly bright and forgot that actors usually have a large ego, I said “well when you make it big, you can move anyplace you want”. He laughed and had this sort of impish grin on his face causing me to realize my error. Once we both understood that I have not, nor would I ever see any of his current body of work by choice, he seemed very comfortable in talking to me about everything. I should also note that had I recognized him, I NEVER would have bothered him (I always leave celebrities alone in airports/airplanes). He even shocked himself by telling me his real age (about 5 years off). Anyway on to the reason for my post…
He is a personal friend of Britney. He basically said her “real friends” feel she is beyond ever recovering mentally. He spoke about how all celebrities live in a fish bowl, but for her it’s much worse. He explained how every little thing she did; every pound she gained was scrutinized. He talked about visiting her house and having to wade through 15 or 20 photographers in front of her home. More or less he said that the media had created her into the person she is now and she does not (or can’t) see what she doing wrong. The Britney part was a small part of a long conversation. He was surprisingly down to earth and a very nice guy. One thing I found funny was he was very excited about taking the EL to the city. He said that he had not taken public transportation in many years (after he got his luggage, he changed into a disguise). The other thing that surprised me was how many people stopped him in the airport and how rude some people were to him. My small glimpse into his life made me glad I’m not a celebrity. Before you jump on the “price of fame” stuff… He readily admitted that it was the price he paid for being successful in Hollywood and he wouldn’t trade his life for anything. |

Interesting story. On our return from Christmas break we happened to be on the same flight as Bill "The Apprentice" Rancic - I actually spotted him mostly because he was flashing his million dollar smile all over the gate area and he is quite good looking - even more so in person. His new wife Guilliana, an E! TV show host, was with him. She was not so cheery off camera. Curiosity - as to whether Mom was right - got the best of my freshman and he approached them and asked, "Weren't you on "The Apprentice?" He flashed that smile again, shook hands and replied, "I won 'The Apprentice.'" They proceeded to have a little chat about vacations, and I later learned he does a lot of work with children's charities. I just thought it was nice that he was kind to my kid.
I returned the favor later, as many from our flight were waiting in a very slow line to make lost luggage claims at O'Hare. My husband was checking another flight's claim area and found luggage from our flight there. I relayed the information to all in line including Bill Rancic. I'm sure I have his eternal gratitude. |

My2cents, I doubt you would know him either. 16 - 24 year old boys would appreciate the majority of his work. I can say the stuff he is doing now I might want to see. I could never say it now that I quoted him. I’m sure I have already said too much since err well I will stop writing now. |

I've heard that name once or twice but have no clue what he has been in. Is he in the moving pictures? Or a singer? Was he in Transformers? I saw that....with Megan Fox. Holy Moly! Was it Megan Fox??? Was Megan Fox on the plane, perplexed??

I urinated next to Paul Volcker once while in Atlanta. I doubt that he knew who Britney was. I am not certain she was older than 4 or 5.
BTW, we were in a restroom at the time. Not in some random location. |

Seriously, you don't know who Shia LaBeouf is? He's Steven Spielberg's favorite young actor. I doubt he's in circles with Britney. But he is an extremely talented young man. Amy - Don't let that impish grin fool you. You know he was arrested after a night of partying with Billy Dec - Chicago's resident nightlife king? He had an interesting hippie parent upbringing in CA.

Count me on that list, didn't know who Shia was. Perplexed-Why the big secret? I was a flight attendant for 8 years, I saw celebrities all the time, some nice, some self absorbed. Only one that really had me in awe was my boyhood hero, Walter Payton. Got to talking with him on the flight, couldn't have been a nicer guy. Jarret was still playing soccer at Viator's and Walter just lit up talking about him. "Deck the halls..." |

Shia LaBeouf? Never heard of him... It's not a secret so much as respect for privacy. I don't really want to put on the internet that 1. His birthdate is WAY off 2. That he thinks Britney is a nut job (even if we all know it's true). If I ever get invited to one of Amy's big parties, I will tell you in person. |
