Who among us hasn't thought of calling 911 when Mickey D's runs out of McNuggets?! American's are entitiled to their highly processed breaded chicken pieces.

The Chicken Selects are 911-worthy...but I think calling the coppers re: McNuggets is kinda dumb.
I mean, seriously. If you are going to call the police about the lack of chicken product at McD's, which treat is it going to be about? That chick is an idiot.

But just maybe she was going to be eating her delectable nuggets in her car, so in this case the McNugget's would win over your overly-breaded Selects.
The McNugget is a much neater, car-friendly food...see the steering wheel in your picture of that glistening Nugget o' Gold? Those selects would have just left a pile of crumbs on her skirt and car seat. HACK!
Not to be a wet blanket, but she called 911 because McD would not give her money back, not because they ran out of McNuggets. I guess McD's ripping off a customer doesn't make as good a headline. Why didn't the just give her a refund and be done with it?
I have called the GE police for very minor incidents (just yesterday, as a matter of fact) which I would not dial 911 for and have been transfered to the 911 dispatcher. 911 is really not for "emergencies" only anymore. If police are being requested, 911 is called. It's a funny feeling dialing 911 when the house isn't on fire or being robbed.
