This is the most confounding breaking news ever. A story that comes out at noon...that had already apparently been reported 14 hours earlier...now breaks again at 9:00 PM.

Anyway. This guy appears to be toast. He really seems like a total skank. I don't believe you need a body to be convicted of murder in Illinois...perhaps in all states. I think it is just a matter of time before they cuff him and take him away.

2 helicopters just landed in the far SW corner of Naperville...according to my good friend Bill who lives there....who should be at work today...but is not...and is forcing me to deal with his customers.

It is difficult to NOT see or hear about this story every day. It just seems to get stranger by the minute. Let me get this straight..... His 4th wife (now missing) supposedly KNEW he killed wife #3! And she (wife #4) was the person who provided his alibi???? WTF? So when it came time to tell him she wanted a divorce, didn't she stop to think he might "off" her just like he did with wife #3?! According to todays news, that is what happened. Stacy told him to leave and he took care of her for good, making it look like the new boyfriend did it.

My question for you guys is, why do you think we are hearing about the blue barrel now? If this is true, why did the parties involved only reveal this now? And if the cops have known about it all along, why did they keep it secret for the last few weeks?

The whole thing is straight out of a made-for-TV movie. Makes the Bolingbrook police look like a bunch of morons for how they handled all things related to this guy.

The whole story is both sad and sordid. I first heard of the blue barrel before Thanksgiving. I don't recall what station reported it, but police said they had been aware of a blue barrel being removed from the house very early on in the investigation, and they had been actively searching for it. I think a neighbor reported seeing DP and another man removing it from the house.

What surprised me was that the story stated there had been around 10 similar barrels found in the search, but not the one they are likely looking for. I remembered the story since I thought it really odd that there were all of these blue barrels laying all over the countryside.

Didn't they state the step-brother related that he helped move a blue rectangular box, not a barrel? Where did the barrel info come from? I read a few times recently it was a rectangle container.
