Media flocks to Blago home as jury prepares to announce verdict

The jury has agreed on 18 of 20 counts. I'm guessing guilty on the majority of charges. Anybody else care to speculate?

His ride is over. Will be guilty in a majority of the counts, IMO. Going on the stand was a great idea. Though I don't think he had a choice in the matter.

I guess my point is that George W admitted his pot and cocaine use as well. Are you equally opportunity offended, or just offended when it is someone with whom you do not agree?

Oh. So not admitting means he didn't do it. And there is probably no possibility in your world that his father had his 1972 arrest expunged. No need to respond in defense - I don't think you will see this any other way so our debate would be pointless. I think the world is probably safer with you believing that about Bush anyway.

Admitting to pot and cocaine use these days is tantamount to admitting you had a martini. George Bush is no different than any other addict. Now that he is done with politics, he'd probably say the same thing. Once that bug is in ya, it don't come out. That all being said, who gives a **** about either dude's personal life?

And he speaks repeatedly about his alcohol addiction. Hence, he is an addict. So what? Join the club. They are not rare, nor special. They are not all found on skid row. They are just like us. I'll bet Robert must be breathing a sigh of relief. This jury would have convicted a ham sandwich. Guy was totally innocent.
