and I'm a libertarian.
I just spent the last hour or so reading about Ron Paul. Very interesting man and quite an interesting political philosophy. I'm impressed. This message has been edited. Last edited by: JRP, |

This coming from the man who touts the greatness of the Civic Betterment Party!?! I'm SO confused.

Amy, are you just salty that the caps on medical malpractice verdicts were overruled as unconstitutional today...you know, the individual right to a trial by jury....libertarianism. This message has been edited. Last edited by: JRP, |

OK, can we stick to this name, Potts? History is full of Ron Pauls. William Jennings Bryan comes to mind (silver lover). Andrew Carnegie said Bryan was too sincere and true to be trusted with power. Bryan hated the US-Phillipine involvement at the time. Are we now going to abolish the CIA, the Fed, and the income tax? And cut spending? And then, we can return to the gold standard, which was eliminated before Ron Paul was born (during the Depression). Maybe he can team up with Bloomberg for a run. I also marvel at President "all hat and no horse", who can't veto anything for six years, and then blames the Dem congress for higher spending. Ronald M. Kas |

Yes, we can stick to this name. William Jennings Bryan, Andrew Carnegie, Milton Friedman, Michael Bloomberg, Thomas Jefferson...I think history has and will judge them quite well. A Bloomberg and Paul ticket...sign me up. This message has been edited. Last edited by: JRP, |

JRP - I was at the intersection of North and Gary yesterday and your candidate's supporters had posted a large sign. It appeared to have been spray painted in red and blue using stencils. That is a grass roots/old school effort - how retro - and I kind of like it. Time to go to the recycling bin and dig our that article on Ron Paul that I didn't read the other day.

Keep the Faith. I have heard that if enough voters get fed up with the establishment that there may be hope for long shots like this. |
