Whoop, didn't see the page 2 button.

So we've been exploring this wealth for 6 years. And the Afgans knew about it for 30 35 years but the Times reports it as "previously unknown mineral deposits". And now other media sources are saying it's worth a trillion $.

WSJ "unknown minerals"

Apparently I'm not the only one who finds this stories timing suspect.

Hey! BP released Tony Hayward of the day to day responsibility for the clean up! (Still CEO though).

Uh, wait a minute- why would the CEO be responsible for the day to day clean up to start with?
