Not to worry, the government can just tax it out of them. Roll Eyes

It's really heartbreaking.

Did you see that article about Oak St in the paper this weekend??? All the shuttered luxary stores??? I had to buy my wife a freakin' Hermes scarf in San Francisco (Pelosi-land, SF-values... ugh) last week because the Government is taxing the hell out of OUR stores!!!

Oh, I get it, you're being ironic. Roll Eyes

I hope we all can laugh it off if the economy stalls and we slip into a double dip recession.

Oops. My bad. I thought that, during a recession, everybody “reduced buying.” Silly me.

I didn't realize that, in recent years, only the wealthy had cut back.

So we're agreed: Let's tax the daylights out of the poor and unemployed. Clearly, that is where the money is.

The Republicans are again spinning the mantra that more tax cuts are needed for the rich so that they will spend more which will drive the recovery. Eek

You're words, not mine.

BIO-I don't think more cuts are needed for the rich, but I don't think taxing them more will help matters. My company is owned by private investors. If they get taxed more, I can kiss my 2011 raise good bye. Not bitter about it, since they are taking a risk by investing and providing people like me with jobs.

Is Glen Beck still selling the October meltdown to the simps?

I'm more of a George Carlin follower and your response reminds me of something he once said-"Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience."
