So....does anyone know anyone or anything about wills/estates/trust issues?

I have a very personal issue that goes between two states and my sister and I could use some guidance. Just a few questions....can anyone help?

I think Ron Kas handles wills/trusts. But if he doesn't, I'm sure he can point you to someone who does.

I'm working with Del Koch of Clingen, Callow and McLean on the same issues and am very pleased with their work.

You just have a few questions - You do not want to hire someone, right?

Either someone on this board who is an attorney - and I'm sure who is can maybe talk to you privalty via e-mail (I think that is what you are getting at).

or try Prairie State Legal Services - locally, maybe they can help with a few questions without actually hireing someone.

ATTORNEYS WARNING-Do not meet GESM2 for drinks or dinner. Not only will you be dispensing free advice, you’ll be stuck with the tab and probably end up moving furniture. Razz

Thanks, everyone!

Yoss, that was NOT amusing....ish.

Honestly, it probably will end up with us hiring someone (though I'm still not sure how), but initially I really just need to know WHERE I should hire an attorney from. It's an interstate issue between here and VA with the estate being in VA. Found out later there are no wills involved, so that eliminates that issue. A primary problem exists with remaining family members (none of my generation) and a long-lost sibling who we'd also have to find.

*sigh* this is going to be a long, weird road over the next few years.
