You could ask former KC Royals coach Tom Gamboa, but you’ll have to ask him in his left ear, since his hearing is gone in his right ear from the beating he took at Comiskey Park nine years ago from a father and son team who jumped on the field and attacked him. Or ask Monica Seles who 17 years ago this week took a knife in the back during a tennis tournament from a spectator. Seriously, I don’t know why anyone would even debate this.
