I don't care how many times someone was warned about the ease by which the parking lot could be bombed, there is no way in H E L L the owner's negligence should exceed the blame allotted to the persons who committed an act of terrorism.

I'm glad you posted a link. The article was far more explanatory than the steam coming out your ears. The Port Authority was not charged with terrorism. The terrorists received ALL the blame for that.

As for racial profiling, you sure you want that? Timothy McVeigh was a white republican, NRA member, and a vet. How abaout that for a profile? Do any of those labels describe you? Do you fit the profile of a terrorist?

My "facts" are fuzzy so let me see if I can get the complaint so that can stand on its own merits.

Some background, we represented GE's insurance arm in the subrogation case against the Pier Authority, Bear Stearns or Solomon Smith Barney or one of the banks and Shorenstein...amongst others.

I should be able to get it by Monday.

The crux of it - BS/SSBarney or one of the big banks, allegedly, with the Pier's consent and the owner's (Shorenstein?) consent, built fuel tanks into the buildings so as to be able to continue trading if the power ever went out. The insurance arm of GE did not know of this - there is ample expert evidence that these building would not have come down but for these allegedly illegal tanks igniting. My recollection is a bit shaky as to the specific details though. So let me see if I can get some real info.
