Yes it does, can't defend her on her own merits because she has NONE? |

| I don't know why Ted, but that billboard cracked me up. It had kind of a Will Ferrell, SNL feel to it.

| Ok - I am not now, nor have I ever been, a supporter of either Bush....however, that sign is hilarious!

| Well, for starters, Vice President Biden happens to be Vice President of the United States, and--as such--probably knows a lot more about present and future terrorist activities than private citizens like you, me and Ms. Palin.
In any case, responding to Larry King is not quite the same as testifying under oath before (for example) a Congressional Committee. As any good Republican can tell you, the end justifies the means, truth has no place in politics, and Sarah Palin or anybody else (including the Vice President, should he so desire) can make up and say anything they want. |

| Slip of the tongue? Maybe, maybe not.
Was the failed underpants non-bomber plot conceived in, planned in, in any way supplied by, practiced in, or paid for by, Detroit?
I don't think so.
In a drive-by shooting, you go after the guy who fired the bullet from the car and find out who gave him the gun and ammo. You don't blame it on the people who made the sidewalk the victim happened to be standing on.
Sorry for the convoluted parallel universe example. But the underpants non-bomber never even got to Detroit (until after he shot himself in the, ah, “foot.” Yeah, that's the ticket. The foot.)
I assume that, had he booked a flight to Toronto instead, you wouldn't give a damn.
Anyway, I don't subscribe to this “The terrorists have won!” “Live in fear!” crap the Republicans are spreading. It strikes me as treasonous. Sort of like giving in to Japan after Pearl Harbor. We're better and stronger than that.
I don't know which is wierder... that Al-Qaeda apparently thinks they can take over Washington and the rest of the country, or that so many Americans seem to believe the same thing.
There are... what... a few hundred of them and over 300 million of us? Lotsa luck. |

| Been better if she had written and crossed out "Condoms".
Seriously though... are Teabaggers the new Scientology? The sorta people that you look on with pity and say, "Really...?!?!" I understand that most of these are older people are in that 50+ age range whose 401Ks are being pummelled, so they feel disenfranchised. But, "really...?!?!?" It's quite sad actually. |

| Double standard? Sorry. There is no standard. The media can't find their butt with a map. Scott Lee Cohen is a prime example. Or was he a liberal media plot? The easiest way out. On both sides. Commentary and headline. Talking point and interview of columnist or washed up comedian, or bubble head bleach blond. This is your media. You can have it.

You win. Now that you have me laughing at malapropisms and thinking about those with little or no command of the English language... Yes, I guess I do miss George W. Bush. |

I believe it's "combating"....though I know that doesn't make much sense according to American English logic. quote: Been better if she had written and crossed out "Condoms".

Right on! The media is a core contributor to all of the misconceptions floating around our country. It always has been, but in this the information age, it's increased with an astounding impact.

| He was an entertaining stand-up comedian, wasn't he?
Unfortunately, the cost of the show was way, way too high. And we're still paying for it.
We wuz robbed. It wasn't worth the money. |

Fish, where are you? Both are acceptable, although combating is the preferred spelling. |
