CNBC's Cramer to spar with Comedy Central's Jon Stewart

Anybody else been following this feud? I love how Stewart been taking this idiot to task. Then Cramer gets upset because somebody's calling him out.

"Everyone thinks their opinion matters. Don't argue with a nobody. A farmer doesn't bother telling a pig his breath smells like s***."

while i know he's worth alot more than me, jon stewart spoke for regular american investors last night. He really stuck it to the entire wall street cabal that made this mess possible. sorry, but the rest of us (and our children) are screwed FOR YEARS because of the inventive fiscal products a small group profited from for the last 8 years or so. after seeing the 2006 "off the record" video of Cramer telling us what the SEC doesn't understand allowed them to do what they wanted, he should resign immediately (or be fired.) He can live off what's left of his hedge fund and his cnbc paychecks. Bet he got out of the market in time...

Caught part of it. Thought that Stewart got the better of Cramer. Cramer spent most of the time apologizing.

So it wasn't the slugfest I thought it would be.

While Stewart picked on CNBC I think most financial reporters etc got it wrong as well. They may not have been as chummy as some of the guys on cable but very few people saw this coming. I think Cramer made one good point because this had been working for so long you kind of went along with it. You assumed maybe that it was natural.

Also the financial press is probably no different than the others. How many sports reporters looked into steroids. Or educational writers refer to schools as "cash strapped".

As for lying , well everyone does. The government lies to us on a daily basis. Every thing from our local school district to the White House lies pretty much on a daily basis .

well, this lying (and lack of Bush administration SEC "understanding") has cost ALL of us untold future ecomomic security. and while you can argue that the l999 reduction in mortgage requirements to allow lower income groups to attempt to own homes started the ball rolling, where were the babysitters? the regulators? guess our texas president really was leading a wild west government. and cramer should resign and go hide with his money which i bet HE pulled out of the market months ago. he was really stupid to put a face on the chicanery of the last 6-7 years. calling stewart a "Comedian" who is on a "variety show..." talk about asking for it!
