We are listening to the fire radio in the office. Sounds like a really big crash between a ConRail freight and a commuter train at 48th and Shields.

Inbound Amtrack from Grand Rapids ran into and the engine up onto a freight train on the same track.

Looks like a lot of opportunity for soft tissue injuries. A conductor - CBS said - was pinned and appears to be the most seriously injured. Most people are walking off the train on their own.
