Actually, I think I have seen both "layered in coats", but most often it's the bike loaded with the bags and more bags on the table.

There is no need to apologize. You didn't put him/her there.

Someday I will have to tell you all the story of my encounter with a homeless person while I was working at a Starbucks in the mid 90's. Wink
