I'm always amazed about the talk about how the rich pay most of the tax? Well....they're the rich- shouldn't they be?. They make how many orders of magnitude beyond the average US worker and with the tax exemptions and shelters they enjoy none of them pay even the 25% rate. Buffett I believe I just read has never exceeded an 20% income tax rate. Plus huge income increases in the last few years while most Americans didn't even keep up with inflation. Whats is amazing is how they pay that much tax at such a low effective rate. Shows how very rich they are.
No I do not feel sorry for the rich and their tax bill.
