The Downtown Glen Ellyn Alliance has a "Mitten Tree" in front of the Glen Ellyn Civic Center. They are seeking donations of mittens, gloves, hat and scarfs for the needy. The items can be placed directly on the tree, and the response so far has been wonderful. Local Boy Scout Troop 41 has scouts visiting the tree daily to collect the donated items.
