Yes, usually about an hour after it begins.

Then again, my ADD might make my timing a little shorter.

She's married to you.

Ronkas - you're solo.

I always think that being home alone without obligations is awesome....until I'm actually home alone without obligations.

That was me from Dec 26th through the 31st, I had grand plans.....I was gonna pick up Clam, go to the GEBB party, meet all my friends on the GEBB. Then Clam never took me up on it, I felt like a loser and stayed home.....I was bored for 5 days straight.....Thanks Clam, you ruined my 5 days of being a bachelor...

Did, uh....did you contact me about that? You would have been a breath of fresh air there. Everyone there was walking on eggshells because they hate me. I think I wasn't supposed to attend. Then there was that stupid beer that Candidate brought that toppled off the refrigerator. I was forced to clean it up...on my hands and knees.

Don't believe a word of this tripe. We were all hanging on every word he said, he is so enthralling. GAG. Clam was on his hands and knees for other reasons. Worshiping OHMA, I believe.

Um, well, I threw it out there in the thread that I would pick you up, but since you didn't bite, I figured you really didn't like to hang with other sigs.....But the holidays are busy times, so I figured you must have had something going on. Sounds like you may have tried to blame the south GE guy with the whole beer thing, so it may have worked out.

I will get to one of the get togethers sooner or later...

OK, I can see the rumors from our party are getting out of hand.

1. Yes, Clam was on his hands and knees at some point. What happens at GEBB parties, stays at GEBB parties. Smile

2. There were no eggshells - everyone was jovial and enjoyed many animated conversations - especially Candidate's!

3. IMJ, you would have been very welcome so I hope you'll make the next one. I'm hoping someday to host my own. Gotta get the husband on board though...I think now that he's met a bunch of you, he'll definitely be against for it in the future.

Wink

I wasn't crazy about Gearhead, BTW. Not bad, just not what I expect for the price paid.

other events from the party that should be noted:

1) the spin the bottle episode was kind of fun.
2) clam losing to me in the deviled egg eating contest (reason he ended up on the floor)
3) scribbler giving candidate a wedgie.
4) scotty singing the aria from madam butterfly (brought tears to the eyes)
5) ohma and mrsspeechlady nose-to-nose in a shouting match over who gets the last buffalo wing.
6) ron kas' naked puppet show was kind of weird. mostly because it wasn't the puppets that were naked.

other than that, it was a pretty low-key get together.

You mean the "incident" that required my husband's ER expertise...? Yeah, you probably shouldn't mention that. I think LittleGoesALongWay is still a bit upset about it.

With such an event filled get together it is amazing that the only real mishap was the beer spill- even after cleaning the floor multiple times my dogs are still licking the floor by the fridge. Why was that beer on top of the fridge anyway? Seems like there is a table and counter within just a few feet of the fridge.

I was hoping it would fall well after I departed.

mental note to self:
When Clam hosts BB party place half empty beverage containers in unexpected places.

Did I or did I not clean the resulting mess? Without prompting, I might add. Again, I am thankful no one thought to click a shot of me on all fours with paper towels in my hand...until I had already stood up.
