Heidi Floyd, the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer's Development Ambassador and a former Glen Ellyn resident will be coming back home to Glen Ellyn.

Heidi will tell her story of surviving cancer, undergoing chemotherapy treatment throughout her pregnancy, and finishing just 2 weeks before her little boy Noah was born.

Her story of survival in the face of desperate odds, and her faith journey will inspire and reaffirm your own faith. "God has truly Blessed me in so many ways!" states Heidi.

Floyd will speak at HONEY, 499 N. Main Street Glen Ellyn at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 11. Sponsored by Paisley on Main, The event will feature prizes, giveaways and raffle items from local retailers, including Cosmo’s Beauty Bar, Tap House Grill, Cabernet & Co, Georgia Rae, Cheveux, Knickers and Shear Pandemonia, Renaissance Art Studio, Tiddlywinks and Scallywags, Bundles of Books & Gifts, Adornments, Ali Kat and Paisley on Main.

The day will continue with shopping and silent auction items at participating businesses, with some donating a portion of their sales to this wonderful foundation. Cancer Survivors are most certainly welcome!!
