Does the CBP or Village of Glen Ellyn have a clause on its/their rules/bylaws allowing for the recall of one of their candidates...be it a trustee or the president? Or even an independent?
Don't get me wrong, I have no intention of spearhheading such an effort because it would never get done in our current situation. So no, this question isn't directed towards our current administration...the majority of which are very competent...a couple who are not (which is the case in most village governments). But what if we had a village president that was elected and was completely off his/her rocker rather than just merely a detriment to the village, is there any way to pull the plug on someone like that?
While you're at it, consider researching what it would take to get rid of our chief and assistant chief of police. I'll fill you in on the train next time I see you.
