A. Proclamation recognizing both FloorOpedics and Lewek Photography for 30 years of service to Glen Ellyn residents.

Motion to waive Section 6-2-2.5 (Unnecessary Noises) of the Glen Ellyn Village Code for the 2008 Bean Bag Toss Tournament to be hosted by the Glen Ellyn Junior Woman’s Club on Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the south and central sections of the Main Street Parking Lot.
The Glen Ellyn Junior Woman’s Club is proposing to host this first-time event to benefit the non-profit organization Family Shelter Services. The event will include a bean bag toss tournament, food and beverages provided by Tap House Grill, and the screening of live football games.

7. Ordinance No. _____-VC, an Ordinance of the Village of Glen Ellyn Amending Chapter 2 (General Offenses) of Title 6 of the Glen Ellyn Village Code Regarding Public Conduct.
Police Chief Phil Norton will present information on revisions to the vagrancy section of the Village Code addressing disruptive public conduct. These amendments will update the Code to be consistent with current case law.
