Hase's quote on the front and Norton's quote on the back. I'd pay for a T-shirt like that! LOL!!!!!

I agree. I watched it on TV last night and thought that they meeting was handled very well - from start to end. Ask any attorney or anyone who is often quoted, words read very differently than how they are intended and heard.

I agree but we really needed a good laugh, didn't we? She was stating that it was very unusual to reject all bids on a project.....

I'd like to go on record and say that Vicky is not.... not ...an idiot. I was simply misquoted earlier in the day.

We are not the cruel ones, we are just quoting the quote from the Daily Herald. They are the cruel ones.
And yes, a good laugh is always appreciated. If I had time, I would crank up the old Cafepress account and throw together a T-Shirt. We could buy her one, she would get a kick out of it.

I am very surprised that Vicky rejected the bid. I am sure she has something else up her sleeve. She certainly did not help the residents who live near the clinic on Western. I think they tore down about 150 trees there.

You may want to review the Yiddish derivation of "schmuck" before you put that shirt on. At least be careful where you wear it! It may be (mis)construed as an offer.

If you read the comments after the Trib article, you'll think that Glen Ellyn's leadership is downright enlightened. We know better.
