Has anyone else noticed a significant increase in their water/sewer/garbage bill? I usually don't keep the bills once they are paid, so I cannot compare them. But mine went from $44 in June, to $79 in July, and then $88 this month. This seems like a pretty drastic change, especially since we have not been watering at all.

I was wondering if there was an increase in one of the services that I was not notified (or did not read) about. Also, there was construction going on on my street and they broke a water pipe at the end of June and thought maybe it was that, but now I am just not sure.

Our August bill...or the bill we receive in August...is always double for some reason. We water....but just plants, not grass. And we are typically out of town for a couple of weeks during that billing period. Our bill, which is typically $80-90.....goes to about $160-170. The village can never explain why.

Does your consumption or water use increase?...Is the bill estimated?

Our water consumption has not really changed. I guess I'll wait to see if it goes down again. Maybe this happens every year and I just didn't realize it.

Ours also doubled.
