Good evening and FYI:

About 4:30 pm a Com Ed outage was reported involving approximately 1,100 customers. Traffic signals at Riford & St. Charles and at Five Corners are presently out of service. Com Ed estimates that power will be restored by 7 pm.

That is all that is known at this point.

Hello - an update:

At approximately 6:00 p.m. the Village of Glen Ellyn was notified that the power outage in northern Glen Ellyn had been reduced to the area between Lake Ellyn and St. Charles Road. Approximately 100 residents are still without power. ComEd estimates that power will be restored by 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2009.
