I received a flyer today talking about a Milton Township townhall annual meeting.

1. Is this held every year? if so, why haven't I heard of it before
2. It says my Milton elected representative will be there. Who the h*ll is that? what board do they serve on? dupage county?

The meeting is at the GE civic center on tuesday night...anyone else going? It says you need reservations...

Also never heard of this annual meeting.

I'm pretty sure the meeting you are referring to is a GOP powwow.

My guess is it will be an attempt to dispel any myths and or rumors regarding their total incompetence, including but not limited to, turmoil at the top. Word is getting out, and they must try and stop it.

This isn't the GOP (it just may seem that way). This is the Milton Township government annual meeting.

Just one of the many thousands of taxing bodies in the great State of Illinois. We probably should have gotten rid of these in urban and suburban areas a long time ago.
