I will talk to him about it - you have to promise to not bash Coach too much, though. Roll Eyes

Seriously - I think it would be a good idea - beyond making sandwiches at Potbelly's or umpiring - not that there's anything wrong with that - just not as a career!!

First off, I got a bad rap for the Coach "incident." I merely said that he should not have attempted the field goal in the fourth quarter. 99% of those I spoke to agreed. Jeez.

Second, in all honesty, I started working in a downtown law firm when I graduated from high school. I worked there summers and holidays through college and straight through law school. It was an awesome experience...and there really is something to learning through osmosis. Plus, when I was 18 I got to drive all of the partner's awesome cars, walk around downtown making deliveries and looking at "the sights" and I even, gasp, got taken out for beers with the partners after work. It was a way better job than the crap my buddies had.

And now, I get to hear from all of the judges and attorneys I met and got to know, the stories how they knew my when I was an 18 year-old punk. Good stuff.

Holy, Moly - I just looked at your firm site - you have way more accolades, activities and "stuff" under your name than your partner. Why is his name first? What does he have on you?

I hope you know I was kidding about the Coach thing. It just made for such a lively Fall. Smile

Sorry, I was directing Mrs. GE Fan on how to edit my post (typo issues) and she accidentally double-posted.

Jeez, hold your horses. The Illinois v. Indiana game is on. I'm busy sitting here hating Eric Gordon.

I looked at my web-tracker...thanks for our February visitor. Big Grin

To answer your question though, I'm second in the name for two reasons:

1. I was the one who set up the entity and suggested the name. I didn't want there to be a conversation about it as it never meant anything to me to be first. So I just did it.

2. I also thought it sounded better.

And accolades are one thing...those can be earned. I'm not bashful in saying that my partner is absolutely brilliant. Like almost weird Rain Man smart. The jag-bag has had three B+s...in his whole life....the rest, A's.

Fan's partner. Way smarter. Odd that he went into business with Fan, though.

Yes, maybe not so smart after all.

Believe it or not - I'm the more likable one.

Maybe that's why we have no clients.

On a serious note....I am thankful that, while we are a passionate group, we have yet to produce a psycho like this. Stories like this just boggle the mind.

Sorry Ronkas, I can't answer now. Were thinking up funny captions for the photos on your web site. Smile

Okay, so it isn't me or Clamato. Probably not Fish, Amy, GEMom2, Ronkas, Bitterboy or 4MP. Certainly not Candidate, BlueEchoes, Middlein87, Scribbler, Buggy or Gus. Likely not Floyd or glellyn.

Poor Yossarian.

I googled Ronkas to see what captions I could come up with and look what I found... You think you know a guy.

Ron's secret life

one of these days he'll learn NOT to use his real name.

And who died and left you in charge?

I just emailed a friend of mine who lives in Kirkwood. From her descriptions, it's a little burb just like Glen Ellyn. She knows the mayor, knew three of the people killed. They just can't believe it happened in their upscale, quiet little community. I don't know what you can say to someone in these circumstances.
