I'm sure that she at least called and thanked those who expressed interest in the position and who were not selected. [My bet, any male was never in the running as she surely thought that she had to replace a woman with a woman.] You know, just like how she shows enough respect to actually call individuals who have VOLUNTEERED to serve on Boards and Commission and for some personal reason, are not selected even though spots sit vacant.
BTW - Walked by the fountain today....despite the fact that it is totally not needed, it really isn't that bad.
