Someone, I think the Village, did the south sidewalk by the train pretty early this morning - I had called during the icy conditions a few weeks ago as you could navigate the parking lot ok, but the walk was a sheet of ice. This time around, looked like it was taken care of quite well.

Drove Mr. ST to the train at 6:15 a.m. and I couldn't believe how great Crescent was. It was basically just wet. Bravo to the Village workers!

I came down Park and was pretty impressed - south of Roosevelt IDOT takes care of things, and they usually do a fine job, but north of Roosevelt was also darn good, both last night and this morning. Hoping the same is true this evening!

Yeah, I was surprised at how well even MY neighborhood was....it's usually one of the last to get done and oftentimes it's not done very well....Kudos to the village for this one!

It just took me 22 minutes to clear my driveway and walk. My driveway is 140feet long 12 feet wide at the street and 65feet wide at the house.

I really should get a job with public works, I'd be done for the day!

Last night was an adventure in the Montclair parking lot. It looked like someone was asleep at the wheel when the plowed the lot. They left huge piles of snow winding thru the center of the lot. Fortunately I drive one of those recalled vibes and was able to blast thru the piles of snow.
