I'm stuck here in the Columbia, S.C. airport for a couple of hours because of crew rest problems. Glad I signed up for UAL to notify me of the delay-which they didn't. I could have a had a nice breakfast at Craker Barrel. BTW-The Columbia airport is one of the few where it's not bad to spend a few hours. It's never very crowded and internet access is free and easy to access.
I'm just curious what my fellow GEBB members are doing for the coming New Years Eve? Mrs. Yoss and I are going the boring route-dinner around 7:00, a few libations then probably home by 10 p.m. If history hold true, I'll run into Candidate (always a pleasure).
If I don't get a chance to see any of you, have a pleasant and safe New Years Eve. Best wishes to you all for 2008!
Early dinner at Bistro Monet. Home by 7:00. There. Even more boring than Yoss.
FYI, Bistro Monet has seatings at 5-5:30, 7-7:30, and 9-9:30. Probably not full up yet (they weren't a week ago when I called), so if you still have no plans, there's one for you.
I was just thinking about calling Bistro Monet. My husband may or may not be home in time for the early seating but maybe the 7ish one....we have a party to attend as well so may pass on dinner tonight and save it for another day. I do love that place!
