I just saw it the Herald this morning and was surprised it didn't receive more attention by fellow GEBBr's. Haven't heard anything else about it but sounds like alcohol + "hey! check out my gun!" might have been the case.

No, this was different than the excitement of Saturday Night. But there has been no news about it so maybe the guy got away. But it made me double check the locks on my door!

Surrey is the street on Rohlwing just North of the overpass that is North of the light at Spring. There are some sort of townhomes on one side and apartment buildings on the other.

Friday night/Saturday morning was the two dudes who robbed the cigar store in Carol Stream. Crashed their own car.

One end of Surrey is as GESM2 describes, but it kind of curves around and hits the north side of Roosevelt Road at the Golden Wok restaurant.
