Movie is set in the early 1970's...tells the fictional story of a teenage journalist writing for Rolling Stone magazine.
The film is semi-autobiographical, as the writer and director (Cameron Crowe) was a teenage writer for Rolling Stone, touring with rock bands Poco, The Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
So if you were rocking out to Free Bird, or don't remember if you were...this movie is for you. If you like vampires, not so much.
