We are remodeling our kitchen and want to donate the old (but very nice) appliances to a charity. Anyone know of charitable organization that takes such donations?
Thanks for the suggestion Amy. I contacted Bridge and other organizations they recommended but none accept refrigerators. Seems they have been burned too many times with broken or moldy donations.
Last year we bought a new fridge in an attempt to update the kitchen. My 18 year old one still worked great so I definitely did not want to just toss it. I called and called and called around but the only place that would take a fridge over 10 years old was the Salvation Army.
