Grace is breaking ground on April 6, 2008 and hopes the addition will take about 1 year to complete. The new entrance will include an elevator so the entire complex is handicap accessible.

Are they going do demolish any of the existing structure? If so, what part?

I think that the changes are significant for those in the know but will not be that noticeable for those who are not closely looking. There is going to be a new entrance and a new steeple. I believe that there is also going to be some interior changes. Maybe JRPotts will get back to you on the specific details of the changes.

Will most of the renovations take place on the west and south side? Do you know if they are planing any major changes on the east side?

It is my understanding that there will be no changes to the east of the church. There will be an added entrance way on the west side as well as a two level addition between the portion of the building jutting out to the north and the building running east and west. The only area that will be physically impacted by the addition is the parking lot currently owned by the church.
