I'm eager for school to start and vacation season to end to get all these amateurs OFFA MY TRAIN! Wink

I've said it before and will say it again - if on the train you see a group consisting of a couple of adults and a group of kids, the more poorly behaved the kids and the less the adults appear to care, the more likely it is that they will be getting off in our fair burg!

Took the 5pm Saturday train on the 10th to go to Old St. Pat's Block Party. Full. With Block Party and OAR concertgoers. Loud, but no problem. And those Pepsi bottles? They don't fool anyone, kids.

On the way home on the 10:40, we sat across the aisle from 4 well served people. 3 guys and one girl. All in their 30's. Listening to a cell phone playing some tinny recording. Like fingernails on a chalkboard. After the loud girl had gone to void some of her beer, the stunning blonde politely asks them to turn it down. The boys were fine with it. When sweetcheeks came back, it was 3 stops of hell for daring to ask them to turn down their music.

I started to feel sorry for the conductor, who was caught in the middle of this, but I realized that he could have just told them to turn it down. End of story. No wait. One more thing. They got off at Lombard.

Life in white bread land.

As God as my witness, the one guy screwed up enough courage to say:

You haven't had that tattoo removed from your forehead yet?
