From the newswires...

11/6/07 -- LAKE FOREST, Ill. – For the second time in as many days, the NFL moved the starting time of a Bears game in accordance with the league’s flexible scheduling plan. The Bears-Broncos game on Sunday, Nov. 25 at Soldier Field has been changed from noon to 3:15 p.m. CST on CBS. On Monday, the NFL switched the Bears-Seahawks game on Sunday, Nov. 18 in Seattle from 7:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. CST.

The move was made in accordance with the league’s flexible scheduling plan. The NFL utilizes flexible scheduling on Sundays in Weeks 11-17 to ensure quality prime-time match-ups. As the schedule stands now, the Bears will play their next four games at 3:15 p.m.—beginning Sunday in Oakland and ending on Sunday, Dec. 2 against the New York Giants at Soldier Field.

...effectively ending the 2007 Season for the Spring Avenue Starlight Backyard Theater. Since we need a bit of darkness to show the game on the Jumbotron, we will cry "uncle" and begin to plan next year's schedule. Look for continued improvements in the backyard theater experience...Dennis has a number of cool items on his Santa list.

If you know of neighbors/friends/family who are not on our emailing list, encourage them to send a note to us so they will receive show notifications for the 2008 season.

See you under the stars!

Dennis & Melanie

What's the problem? Doesn't the sun set at 3:15 anyway?
