You think we've had it rough in Glen Ellyn this winter? The next few months could be even tougher if you tagged along with with 32-year old Glen Ellyn native John Huston.

Next week John puts his physical and mental training and endurance to the test. He intends to be one of two humans to successfully ski 475 miles unsupported from Canada to the North Pole.

Young John Huston...still cold...now hungry!

"The Fat Boy Burger is half pound hamburger, Norwegian cheese, bacon, fried egg, mayonnaise, catsup, tomato, lettuce and I'm not sure if there's avocado on there but I'm going to put avocado on there too, and then a whole plate of French fries on the side. And I have thought a lot about that Fat Boy Burger. And I want one. So, when I get off the North Pole, I'll probably have lost 20 to 30 pounds, and I'm going to be coming for that Fat Boy Burger.

"So, look out."

One thing about John Huston...terrible wiffle ball batter. I am much better. And if the ball goes in the hostas...he can never find them.

"They began the trek with 650 pounds of food, fuel and gear. Upon arrival they had one dinner, one breakfast and part of a lunch remaining."

I hope he gets that Fat Boy Burger.
