Yoss, I have a friend who lives over there who told me that some guy was running around naked and barking at the moon!

Apparently, the police were forced to deal with it. That's what I heard. Eek

Amy, I think I saw you planting some flowers in the front part of your yard, your landscaping is charming Smile

Anyhow, It was about 4 houses east of Western Ave. on Elm. I only saw it because I was caught by the light.

If I get a chance, I'll ask some of my police buddies and get the scoop.

Yes, that was me and charming is a good word. It needs a lot of attention. Frown It's nice that you are trying to use polite words to describe it. Big Grin

Yeah, I'm definitely curious. Let us know if you find out anything interesting....I mean naked and barking - that's interesting! BTW, when I told my kids about it just now, my son went into the other room, stripped off his clothes and ran by this room barking. We all had a very good laugh!! (He did put his clothes back on - thank God!)

Amy, that feeling you're getting is your chain being yanked. Check the "Panhandling as a lifestyle" thread from earlier today. Aren't you from Hoosier-land?? Smile Very disappointing.

Also - you have trillium - you can definitely call your landscaping charming.

What is it with the GE cops that cause people to run around naked? Wasn't the man accused of drowning his kid in the tub shot a year or so ago by GEPD also naked?

I saw the panhandling thread earlier and I do not have all the lines of the movie Hoosier committed to memory - though I do remember what a big deal it was to my town and my family when it came out. My parents remembered that big game very well.

Anyway, I suspect there was no nudity and barking around the corner today but my son obviously thought it sounded pretty funny. Of course, since it was in my living room, I handled it. Smile I laughed!

BTW, I found another very funky-cool plant/wildflower in my yard today. I am going to try and figure out what it is and I'll let you know.

Found it. Wild Ginger. Cool plant/flower. So, I'm feeling pretty excited. We have:
1. Trillium (apparently mine is called Prairie Trillium).
2. Jack-in-the-pulpit.
3. Mayapple.
4. Wild Ginger.
5. several kinds of Aster.
6. White and Blue Violets.
7. American Bellflower.
8. White Trout Lily.
9. Wild Geranium.
10. Virginia Bluebells.
11. Woodland phlox.
12. Solomon's Seal.

OK, it's charming.... Big Grin

Are your trillium white or red? I have the red variety all over my yard.

The guy wasn't nude, sorry. If you know the neighbors on that street, see if they know what was up. My suspicion was that the perp was trying to gain access into a home by the overwhelming police presence and the no nonsense handling of the suspect.

Red.

Lucky you. They're really beautiful.

I know he wasn't nude - I was joking back, that's why I said naked and barking would be interesting. Big Grin Yeah, I will have to ask the neighbors - I know almost all the people who live on that block (actually my son does since they all play ball together).
