. Of course there is no reason to wait until August 16th to *read* Scribbler's new novel...stop by The Bookstore on Main next Tuesday and pick one up. Then bring it back on the 16th for signing!
Support your local bookstore on main street tomorrow by picking up Scribbler's latest masterpiece...then join us back there on the 16th for a celebration!
Remember, I'm buying drinks as payment for your heckling services during Scribbler's presentation.
They are even talking about my rock star wife in Denver! .
Denver? Really? I'm in the frickin' Wall Street Journal today, and all you can come up with is Denver?? Who's paying you to do all this publicity, anyway?
My "brother-in-law" writes historical novels but they are not very readable. He gets way too hung up on vocabulary and run on sentences. Subject matter is not always great either, IMO.(John Brown, Doc Holliday)I'm looking forward to buying yours! Best of luck on your tour.
Not a silly question, but yes, right now, unfortunately, the royalty percentage is lower on an eBook than a print book (has nothing to do with the lower price; we are getting less of a piece of the pie than we are on print books). Hopefully that will change in the not-so-distant future, though. But hey - I'm happy whenever anyone buys a book, digital or paper!
And Shore, there's a marvelous book just out called DOC that's historical fiction about Doc Holliday. I have it on my TBR pile!
Thanks, all - I'm on my first leg of my Epic Book Tour today. I won't really be home until August 6th, so beware of raucous bachelor goings on, and please, someone, post the bail money for Proud Hubby if he needs it!
Thanks, Scotty! It was fun doing that; the photographer had me posing all over the Palmer House, which made me feel, temporarily, like a supermodel. Although I hadn't been told I'd have my photograph taken, so I didn't have on enough makeup. I also hadn't combed my hair.
Speaking of - just had a new author photo taken by Todd at Expressions here in town. Very happy with it, and impressed by the speediness of the entire process.
