Do bikers (bicycle riders) have to obey the same rules of the road as motorists? For example: They have to stop at stop signs same as cars, correct?

It's really stupid to blow through a stop sign, especially when your sharing the road with cars that weigh in excess of 3,000 pounds.

But this is why we have the Darwin awards.

A couple of weeks ago I driving east on St. Charles through the town-that-shall-not-be-named. Just east of Westmore there was a young man riding his bike down the center turn lane, using both of his hands to text.

Time to cull the herd!
