As Young Perplexed and I learned today... If you are headed East, you should probably turn around by 26th Street. Today we went as far as 19th and the last block or two was a bit worrisome. Realistically, I'd say Mannheim since it's a pain to cross.

That reminds me of something my oldest told me after a long bike ride heading east on the Path. He decided to turn back towards home when he saw the sign at a garden plot indicating it was the "Garden for Mothers of Murdered Sons."
Mrs. Yoss and I will go as far as Maywood, then turn back. Too bad there isn't a real path all the way into Chicago. Riding the sides of main roads can get pretty dicey, especially with all the distracted drivers.
