Happy Fall Everyone!

One of the favorite things we like to do when not hosting movies in our backyard is to sit at the bar at Vitorio's Ristorante (504 Crescent), drinking martoonis and bloody marys lovingly hand-crafted by the best bartender in town, Roger. Roger is a true movie scholar and we've had many spirited discussions along with many spirits consumed.

Sadly, Roger can never make a Spring Avenue Starlight movie night since he's behind the bar every weekend...so (weather permitting) we are hosting a special MONDAY NIGHT MOVIE on September 29th so that Roger can attend! CUBS PLAYOFFS! At this time we don't know WHO we are playing, or GAMETIME...but the MLB schedule shows games on 10/1, 10/2, 10/4, 10/5 and 10/7. We will be showing at least the 10/2 and 10/4 games out on the big screen if they are played at night (weather permitting).

Remember, weather is unpredictable this time of year, so check the website to see event status. And it gets dark earlier, so showtime is earlier...7:15PM-ish

Monday, September 29th...Star Wars-The Empire Strikes Back (PG)

George Lucas's epic saga continues as Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), in hopes of defeating the evil Empire, learns the ways of the Jedi from aging master Yoda. While Luke trains, rebel leader Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), cocky Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Chewbacca, and droids C-3PO and R2-D2 are thrown into various stages of capture, betrayal and hopelessness. Darth Vader (James Earl Jones), however, is more determined than ever to capture Luke.

After looking at your website, you folks are about the coolest people I have seen online. Way cooler than Fan, but not quite as cool as Clamato.
