Hi
My family is taking a look at moving back to DuPage from Cook County. I see several homes on the market in the Valley View subdivision near Morton Arboretum.

Is there a particular reason I see what appears to be so many in that area? Maybe it's just a large subdivision and the ratio is no higher than elsewhere around GE.
Any thoughts?

Valley View is a nice area. Stay away from the homes along Rte 53 or those that back up to it...the river tends to go over its banks and flood that area (the county bought several homes and demolished them along that stretch.) There are also alot of nice homes in Butterfield East and West.

Another reason to possibly avoid IL 53 frontage -> IDOT would like to widen IL 53 someday.
