Yesterday I caught an earlier train than usual, the one that left downtown at 4:11. As we left Villa Park, over the PA passengers heard a communication among crew members; one voice said "The cops are going to be all over us at Glen Ellyn."
Then a conductor got on the PA and said "The police are going to hold us here at Glen Ellyn. We will let you know as soon as we get more info."
The train stopped, I got off, and there was no sign of cops - at least not near the rear of the train. As I walked away, it seemed as tho the train may have stayed there for a little longer than usual, but the gates went up within a minute or so.
