Yes, I thought I was crazy too - especially when I woke up my husband and he didn't know what I was talking about. I called my parents in Indy. It woke them up too but no problems as a result. I remember the tremor in '87 but it was milder than this one. Pretty bizarre and unsettling sensation.

Yeah, it woke me up. Our poor parrot fell off his perch, he's still a little spooked this morning. Dogs weren't even phased. Cool.

Woke us and the cats up at 4:38. The news was all over it 10 minutes later. Finally got back to sleep and was again jolted out of bed by one of the aftershocks at 10:15am.
We also had an earthquake here 5 years ago in the late afternoon. That one wasn't a trembler/roller like yesterday - more of a bang as I recall. Also felt the '87 quake.
