I know that at some point, this property has been discussed here but I couldn't find it so I'm re-posting. What's the deal with this property? Great Lake Ellyn location, foundation built but that's it....for a loooong time now. What gives?

Yeah, no matter how bitter the situation, it is hard to imagine at some point all parties wouldn't be better off just cashing in and walking away.

Clam has said he knows the inside poop, but won't tell - at least not on the boards.

Why can't the village force some sort of conclusion? It's a safety hazard not to mention an eye sore. I would hate living next to that.

Folks behind them must appreciate the view of the lake!

Shore Thing - exactly how would you propose the village "force" them to do what?

The info on the vacant lot is one of the worst kept Glen Ellyn stories. You are just asking the wrong people about the skinny!

I hear you Dinsdale. It is just crazy that this has been a no go for so long. If I dug a hole in my front yard and just left it I'm sure I would be fined /sued or something.

If you had the $$$...and believed in your stance, believed you were wronged...what then?

FWIW, the Village of GE is suing them.
