Just seeing that there has been quite a bit of rain in northern IL this week. I've been out of town. Worried about our basement. How has Glen Ellyn been? Much rain? Any issues with flooding?
Our power wasn't out as long at DTM. Our outage started at about 6:30 and went until 8:30 or so.... no flooding yet but if this keeps up and power goes out again, we could be in trouble fast. We keep saying we will invest in a battery backup for the sump pump. Maybe we will do that today.

We had a battery back up in our old house- It was needed on many occasions there. We do not have one here- but since we have a split and our basement is not as deep as it was in the other house I haven't felt the need for one.
